Our quest to send Ashley Bradley out to the worst lighting situations for photos continues with this set from Gypsy Lounge, where Ashley caught sets by a number of more instrumentally focused Austin groups. This show featured synth and keyboard heavy acts Videoing and Math Patrol alongside the proggier guitar sounds of Seven Circles and Void Starr. Be sure to check these groups out next time they’re around, they all put on great sets but Void Starr deserves special mention for having one of the band member’s son fill in on keyboard duty after their normal keyboardist called in sick. That’s quick thinking.
