Even though Super Thief frontman Cody Kimbell writes for us sometimes, we were totally in love with his band before he made the poor decision to join forces with us. Obviously that means we came out for Super Thief’s EP release party at Beerland. After all, our own Brian J. Audette called Super Thief’s eponymous new EP “hardcore the way I like it,” and the band put together a killer line-up with Night Court, HWLN and Borzoi all making appearances. Ashley Bradley and her omnipresent lens were on hand to document the festivities (due to this being one of the rare Austin shows that started on time, she missed Night Court, though, sorry gang!), take a gander.
