A couple weeks back Beerland had a fully stacked bill showing off some of Austin’s most intriguing twists on indie rock, including the alternately twee and heavy sounds of AMA, the spacious poetry of Ollie and the alt-country tinged balladry of Battle Bend. They were there to support avant bedroom pop act Crisman, from Denton, and Raleigh folk punkers Truth Club.
