Planet Heck Day 4

Weekend two of TuneCore, Ovrld and Fare’s AHFUCC event was at Planet Heck, a fun little house near Springdale and Airport that came complete with its own lunar backdrop and silkscreening machine. Dead Sally kicked things off with their volatile brand of folk punk, featuring cello and violin alongside guitar and drums. Leche followed with some down and dirty cowpunk, which led into the more laid back vibes of LNS Crew’s Tank Washington and Haris Q and their collaborator Sertified, as well as guests J Shaqq and Stat 1. The night ended with the potent, confrontational punch of sludge rock quartet New China and doom rock trio Vampyre. Somehow the house was still standing by the end and not a single authority figure was in sight.
