Exclusive Track Premiere: Tocaio “Lumo”

Tocaio may have recently left Austin for the greener pastures of LA but that doesn’t mean we aren’t still keeping an eye on what the promising electronic producer is up to. Unsurprisingly, Tocaio has already gotten notice for his fusion of house textures and post-rock guitar, with tastemaking electronic label Noise Revolt seeking the producer out to join their roster. Tocaio’s first release on the label is “Lumo,” a breezy and tranquil track that may not physically teleport you to Tocaio’s new hometown but at least puts you in the headspace of its beaches. The single is flanked by a pair of remixes by Noise Revolt’s founders Raskal and DaVoid, with the former emphasizing the house aspects of “Lumo” while the latter amplifies Tocaio’s post-rock tendencies. Take a listen for yourself and then keep your eyes on Noise Revolt’s Bandcamp for Tocaio’s perfectly named upcoming full length Pointillism, due out next month.
