In a short amount of time, FaxD has blossomed into one of our favorite electronic producers in Austin thanks to his blend of glassy, spacy textures and grimy rhythms. So we are of course pleased as punch to premiere FaxD’s aptly named single “Haunted,” right in time for Halloween. Sounding like a futuristic alien remix of the best John Carpenter horror theme you never heard, “Haunted” is spine tingling in every sense of the word. FaxD is about to drop a limited edition tape version of his first EP on Ben Buck’s Speaker Bump Presents label, and “Haunted” itself is dedicated to his friend Jeffrey Salinas, who recently passed away.
