Stately yet hummable, the music of Robby hearkens back to the early ’90s output of Too Pure Records. Robby’s new single “Blue Star” is a magnificent representation of that, with dark, jangly guitar bringing a subtle edge to Robert Williams’ breathy vocals and swooping melodies. For the video, though, director and bandmate Caleb Mckelvey opted for the brightness and natural beauty of Landbridge Cliff in the Greenbelt for a setting, with Williams wandering the woods and cliffs accompanied solely by an acoustic guitar. Check it out for yourself below and then catch Robby in the equally majestic setting of Cheer Up Charlie’s tonight with TC Superstar and more!
