Local glitch artist Moses on a Motorbike stands apart from the bulk of the Austin electronic scene, forgoing the abstract, textural soundscapes many of his peers are devoted to in order to explore intense percussive epics. MoaM’s new single “Chosen Won” takes that to a new extreme, evolving from a The Bug-like blast of skronky noise to Prodigy adjacent breakbeats and Orb melodies. The video is fittingly cerebral and awe-inspiring, exploring CGI alien worlds and artifacts, multiple screens buzzing in and out in time to the beat.
