Local duo Indoor Creature sound like little else in the Austin scene– wondrous, charming pop with glitchy rhythms, like Mark Mothersbaugh time travelling to the Brill Building’s heyday. Their full length Windows was slept on last year but they’re kicking off 2018 with an appropriately sweet video for stand out track “Really Can’t Say.” Directed by Christian Haigis and shot by Zak Seeker, the video stars David Blackwell as a channel surfing old man who gets sucked into the fantasy world of the silver screen. Haigis’ video is a pitch perfect visual translation of Indoor Creature’s sound, full of warmth and whimsy, and we think you’ll be just as charmed by it as we’ve been.
