Austin trip hop siren Bateau is in the process of relocating to Australia, but still managed to find the time to put together an eerie little clip for the title track of her new EP Dispatch that reconfigures her as the star of a cabaret take on Mannequin. Flanked by doting dancers who force her to put on a marionette performance, Bateau visually communicates the subtle anxiety of the track while No1mportant reaches out to her from within a glitched out tv screen, like a Videodrome romantic.
