In preparation of their EP release show this Saturday at Sidewinder, we’re happy to premiere the first single from …And Yet We’re Captivated called “Talk!” The song encapsulates the band’s entire sound, showing off their laid-back beach flare with a side of psychedelics, as if Brian Wilson himself had taken Pet Sounds and added some mescaline for a very chilled beach side hang. If you listen closely, you can almost smell the sunscreen.
This Saturday’s show is one of our residency nights at Sidewinder, which will benefit the Central Texas Food Bank. The show is $5 at the door, or $3 with a canned food donation. Chill Russell will also be joined by The Sun Machine and Coattails. Hope to see you there!
