Electro-funk pranksters NGHT HCKLRS reached out to let us know they’ve returned, but now they’ve reconfigured themselves as a masked instrumental duo specializing in ominous yet addicting boom bap. Featuring members of Sorne and Cerulean Trade, NGHT HCKLRS’ DNA is basically rooted in adventurous sounds and their new direction is especially intriguing. They sent over a video for us to premiere called “15 Min Facelift,” that really functions more like a video EP, bringing together seven new tracks, performed in what looks like a room from 12 Monkeys.
