Eric Dingus has had one of the most impressive career arcs in Austin hip hop, rising up from hazy local bedroom producer to a dude Drake calls up when he needs something special. But Dingus’ collaborations with his League of Extraordinary G’z cohorts always seem to bring out the best in him, particularly his work with the mighty Dominican Jay. The pair teamed up with S. Dot for “Trill Shit,” an aptly named new single that has Dingus ramping up the tempo to emphasize Jay and S. Dot’s silvertongued styles. As if that wasn’t enough to get any reasonable hip hop fan hyped up, the crew brought in local hip hop auteur Chino Chase to do a video for the track that we’re thrilled to premiere here. We’d have been eager to bring this track to you in any form, but Chino’s “Michael Bay directs an episode of Atlanta” aesthetic couldn’t possibly be a better fit for the song’s gritty, fleet footed tone.
