Frosty Palms have been impressing us with their heat dazed indie pop (think chillwave but with the wavy shimmer of the sun barreling down on a Texas highway and you’re on the right track) so we sent Adrian Gandara out to Cheer Up Charlie’s to photograph the celebration of the band’s excellent new LP The Arid Interval. The line-up was fairly eclectic, with Frosty Palms joined by the similarly minded Mylets and Ama, while brutal experimental noisemakers Blank Hellscape closed out the evening.
