Over the weekend, Spider House Ballroom threw a “Juicy Pop Summer Sundae” event, bringing together some eclectic beatmakers to treat your ears to a delicious auditory dessert. Featuring mononymic button pushers, Tangence, Stone, Botany, Raindro, Yoshi and exception-that-proves-the-rule Man-of-the-Downtrodden, the event offered a glimpse at some of the most promising voices in Austin’s exploding beat scene and trippy visuals from Pacerendleton. Ice cream connoisseur Ashley Bradley was there to catch it all, including yet another impromptu make-out session on stage.
